Kung Fu Engine Four Begins Production

As the title says Kung Fu Engine Four is now in production or more correctly it is currently being inked. The first few pages are turning out well and only 24 to go. This issue is set in the mysterious Ghalken Sea and sees the first appearance of a new foe the Aquatians. I will be posting more as the production continues but in the meantime here are a few pencil sketches.

What's on the cards?

Holiday time is over and it's back to work. KFE 3 is now out, do you have yours yet? Our good friends at http://www.indyplanet.com/ have them and some other great books too. Also I have managed to get Kung Fu Engine into a local comic shop too.

I will be starting a the new book soon and I have the new you tube advert in the works too.

On a side project I have a Swords and Sorcery Comic in production too. It is called Lutu Warrior of The North and shall be starting a separate blog about it soon.

Websites, Schools, and new Character

Well, it's been a busy few weeks. I have been knee deep in French website navigation and my son had his first visit to his new School. What a big man he is becoming.

The BBQ is in full swing now and patio living has begun. We found a new, old, movie this week called Kung Fu Hustle. Fantastic!

Also I have been doodling on an idea from my wife about a warrior woman. The sketch is here but I haven't decided if she will have her own book yet or become part of the Kung Fu Engine universe. Also my wife had another really cool idea about a witch but that's top secret at the mo' until later.

In the meantime here's the warrior woman.

Comic Book Pin ups and Movies

I have been doing some pin ups lately for various people. Anyway, I got an email from HACK/Slash creator Tim Seeley and I was over the moon to find out that the pin up I did would be going in a future edition of his comic. The other pin up was for a studio project at Ronin Studios and I believe that it is also going in DeAndre' Truesdale's excellent book Chronicles of a Bounty Hunter.

In another note we watched Tremors Two last night and I really enjoyed it. I had only ever seen the first one and I was pleasantly surprised by number two.

Also 'In The Name of the King' was a great romp too and it has given me some ideas for a fighting fantasy kind of story. Damn, now I fancy some popcorn...

It's today and issue three of KFE is at the printers.
Now work begins on the advert before the book drops in a few weeks time.
I am also up to my ears in audio production but that's another story.
